I needed a replacement for my beloved Zara flats I pretty much wore into the ground. I got my cost per wear for sure, lol. They were falling apart to wear the front was flapping :P I knew I needed to act quicker than normal becuz what you NOT gonna do is catch me outside with shoes talking more than a man with a mic on a podcast, lol.

And Darlingssss, these pretty much deliver. I just needed something nice n simple but they GOTTA be red. Finding THE perfect red is always my fight because they are either a blue tone type red; think Ruby Woo or a tinge darker. I am a lover of CAMEO cup "OOOOOW" red. That beautiful candy apple red.

These Jenna Slingbacks from Nordies went on sale and I snagged em. And yall...these hit the mark for me. They are flat with my signature pointy toe and my favorite part is not just the shade but the hardware that sold me.

Another fun fact about me; I loooove a shiny patent leather look. The glossiness adds the POP to an outfit.

When I say prostitution red-THIS is what I mean. I live for a mean ol' Hookers at the Point (HBO reference if your as old as me) RED!!

Peep the hardware. It's not your typical elastic or gold/silver hardware.

The low heel balances elegance with all day comfort. It's not a kitten but I love the hint of click clack it gives.

I got a Size 9 and I'll need to maybe punch another hole to tighten it around my ankles so it's not flopping off. Note: These are made in Turkey-not sure if that has anything to do with it but I can't fully say true to size. I have room in the toe area and if they had 1/2 sizes I could've fit an 8.5 <---do with that info what you will.

Tis the season for red shoes. Yall know this is my favorite shade and brings me joy even if I'm downplaying an outfit w/a stripe or solid white blouse w/jeans these flats elevates the look. So long Zara flats. We got a new devil in red pumps. Tipping the cup to sip while pointing at destiny-until the next pour!!
