I don't know about you, but I love a good countdown.

There is something about putting a number on something that makes it feel real. It gives you something to look forward to, something to prepare for, and sometimes, a gentle little reminder that time is moving whether we are ready or not.

August has officially arrived, and naturally, my brain is already in forward planning mode.

So, in case you needed a little reminder to put things into perspective, here is your seasonal countdown:

50 days until Fall.

89 days until Halloween.

115 days until Thanksgiving.

144 days until Christmas.

And one less day than you had yesterday.

Read that last one again.

Because while we are busy waiting for the perfect moment, the perfect Monday, the perfect burst of motivation, the clock is still ticking.

So let me lovingly ask you...

Start the walk.

Hop into the hobby.

Make the appointment.

Take the first step.

Because by this time tomorrow, you'll either be one step closer... or still telling yourself, "I'll start tomorrow."
