Welcome back to The Espresso Pour.

Today's note is called Watching Through the Window

Did you know...

This is my...not 1, not 2, not 3 but SIXTH audio publication-EEEK!!

And if you've noticed me stumble over a word, laugh at myself, or stop to catch my breath...that's intentional.

I leave those moments in.

Not because they're perfect.

But because they're honest.

I was being nervous and shy to where I was so focused on sounding like a content creator, I didn't focus on just sounding like myself.

Now that I'm getting comfy, I'm realizing my voice was here all along. It wasn't hiding, it was just waiting for me to hit RECORD!!

For the longest time, I told myself I wasn't ready.

I needed the perfect setup.

The perfect microphone.

The perfect delivery.

The perfect time.

If I'm honest, those weren't reasons.

They were excuses.

I was the person standing inside the house, looking through the window, watching everyone else play in their dreams while I kept convincing myself that tomorrow (from 2 espresso shots ago for reference, lol) would be a better day to begin.

Today's Pour:

Connection will always outshine perfection.

Then one day, I realized something.

You don't become confident and then start.

You become confident because you start.

So I decided to press record.

Not after I mastered it.

Not after I found the perfect words.

Just...because I was tired of watching from the window.

Maybe one day I'll listen back to these first recordings and smile at how much I've grown.

But that's exactly why I'm leaving them as they are.

I want to remember where I started.

Because every expert has a recording that sounded like their first.

So open the door.

Your dreams have been waiting outside long enough.
