I normally have a theme in mind before I get in the chair or at least try to but this one was on a whim. My nail appointments fall towards the end of the month so Feb bout over and I didn't wanna do the cliche red. Rolling into March, I didn't wanna do the St. Patty's infamous green and I had already brung in the new year with my signature pink.

Well...I'd been eyeballing the most recent Chanel Denim Collection. I said weeks ago, I wanted to incorporate more Navy into my wardbrobe as an alternative to Black so the blues was just coming more to the forefront as inspo. I gave Sharisse free range.

This set feels like a quiet nod to the cool-girl grit of Rihanna during her ANTI era, all smoke and sapphire confidence, brushed up against the polished whisper of Tiffany & Co. blue. Denim Dreams courtesy of the Chanel Denim Collection, but distilled into ten tiny canvases. Navy brought the mood. Tiffany brought the manners n kept it dainty. And those signature swirls on your left hand sealed it with that unmistakable prissy stamp. Nothing cliché, nothing predictable. Just instinct, intuition, and a little sparkle of audacity as the editor-in-chief-Out of the blue, indeed!!

Consider this your reminder that sometimes the best ideas percolate when you stop forcing the flavor. I didn’t chase a trend, I trusted the brew. Stirred with instinct, topped with a little shimmer… and served bold with a wink ☕💙
