Summer has officially clocked in, and after a whirlwind season of packing boxes to move after an eight year stint and getting settled into my new place; I'm finally back behind the keyboard here to reignite my passion for writing and taking care of my baby-my blog! If life were a coffee order, the past few months have been an extra-large blend of responsibility with a double shot of reality one cha-ching on top of the other. Between inflation keeping all of us on our toes and my commitment to supporting Mason's college journey, this summer won't be filled with passport stamps and elaborate getaways.

Instead, I've chosen to pour my energy into taking advantage of clean slates by crafting a comfortable new space-I'm not rushing; peace n contentment with spending restrictions (although #Nsale is upon us, luckily I got Nordy Notes). Sometimes the richest investments aren't found in a travel brochure but in the places and people we call home.

No worries, this season won't be short on joy cuz I make the most when needed. Quite the contrary. I'll be brewing up meaningful moments with friends, catching up over coffee, cracking into crabs to fellowship, and making those spontaneous drive-bys just to lay eyes on the people I love n prefer to experience in person. This summer may be less about boarding flights outside of work and more about staying grounded, but there's something beautifully refreshing about that. Yall know I can thrive in stillness. So grab your favorite mug and settle in. The return of me is here and I have plenty of beauty finds to share, some chuckles, and life lessons steeping for the months ahead. Here's to a season that's strong, smooth, and perfectly roasted with purpose.

Here's to slow mornings that starts beating the sunrise, conversations that occur as the sun sets, and coffee-fueled memories all summer long. I'll meet you back here soon for another pour from The Dainty Brew ☕✨
